1. About the service
veilx is a unified CDN, acceleration and security platform, offering services such as CDN acceleration, the Web Application Firewall, port forwarding and streaming relay. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") apply to your access to and use of the veilx website, console and related services.
By registering an account or using any veilx service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please stop using the service.
2. Accounts and registration
Most veilx features require you to register an account first. When registering, you should provide true, accurate and complete information, and keep it up to date when it changes, so that we can properly provide services and notifications to you.
You are responsible for all activity under your account and for safeguarding your account credentials (such as username, password and access keys). If you discover unauthorized use of your account or any other security risk, please change your credentials and contact us as soon as possible. You are solely responsible for any loss caused by your failure to safeguard them.
3. Acceptable use
You must use veilx services lawfully and in compliance with applicable rules, and you are responsible for the content transmitted, cached or forwarded through the service. You agree not to use the service for any of the following:
- Engaging in any activity that violates applicable laws and regulations, or distributing unlawful or non-compliant content;
- Infringing the intellectual property, trade secrets, privacy or other lawful rights of others;
- Launching or assisting attacks on others' systems, including but not limited to DDoS, intrusion, scanning and exploitation of vulnerabilities;
- Distributing malware, phishing pages, fraudulent information or spam content;
- Circumventing billing, abusing resources, or otherwise interfering with the normal operation of the service or others' normal use.
If your use violates the above terms, we may, as appropriate, issue a warning, restrict features, suspend or terminate the relevant services, and we reserve the right to pursue liability.
4. Service availability
We will make reasonable efforts to keep the service stable and available, and to continuously improve the platform's performance and reliability. However, you understand and agree that the service may experience temporary interruptions or be unavailable due to system maintenance, upgrades, network failures, third-party service issues or force majeure.
For planned maintenance, we will try to give advance notice and schedule it during lower-impact periods; for unexpected incidents, we will locate and resolve them as quickly as possible.
5. Billing and renewals
veilx services are charged according to the plan and billing cycle you select. The specific plan specifications, prices and billing methods are as shown in the product center of the console.
Before the end of a billing cycle, the service is generally renewed for the selected cycle to keep it continuous. You can change your plan or adjust renewal settings in the console; plan changes are prorated against the current billing cycle. If fees are overdue, we reserve the right to suspend the corresponding services until the fees are settled.
6. Refund policy
Whether a refund is available, and the specific refund amount, depends on the type of plan you purchased, the duration and resources already used, and the refund terms applicable at the time of purchase.
Requests that meet the refund conditions can be submitted via a support ticket or customer service channel; once verified, we will process the refund through the original payment method. Fees incurred from usage-based billing, resources already consumed, and fees collected on behalf of third parties are generally not refundable.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, veilx is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses (including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption) arising from the use of or inability to use the service.
In any event, veilx's aggregate liability under these Terms and the service is limited to the fees you actually paid for the relevant services during a defined period before the dispute arose. These Terms do not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
8. Changes to the Terms and contact
We may update these Terms in response to business developments and changes in laws and regulations. After an update, we will publish the revised Terms on the website and update the "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the service after the Terms change is deemed acceptance of the updated Terms.
